The work of the Apostles.

Greetings, brethren. I am here today to add a new piece I finished in accordance with the agreement I have with my fellow apostles, Luke and Jon. Firstly, a thank you to Jon for providing me with the textures I used within. This piece is not a very subtle nod to Radiohead. I've for the longest time had various ideas floating in my head regarding Kid A and the concepts behind the album. I think I've conveyed the initial song on the album as I've envisioned it in my mind's eye. In the future, I hope to complete the whole series I have swimming in my brain. I hope you enjoy the result. Until next we meet, fare thee well and Godspeed.

Undeadlines that crave brains...

Greetings Sailors and seahags, it's been a bit since last posting. I've been enjoying my break from school and being a sponge, soaking up all that I see and read. Grades came out and I aced both my classes. Yay, me! :) I really look forward to next semester and all the stress and glory(hopefully) that awaits me. I have some cool classes coming up. More on that in another post.

So what brings me here today, is this fun little piece that I did for no particular reason. I and the fellow apostles, Luke and Jon, made a little pact with one another to produce some work within a certain amount of time to keep ourselves sharp for the coming semester. This is what I've come up with so far. I finally used that sketch I did way back in May. I inked it using illustrator and I am very pleased with the way it came out. Then the rest is just me playing with illustrator. I hope you all enjoy it and until next we speak, fare thee well and Godspeed.

Come to port.

Greetings fellow friends, as I've stated in my prior post, I am here to present my final project from Design Technology. The pic you see here is what I based my illustration from. From there, I rendered the entire piece in Illustrator. My total time spent on this was prolly about 25-30 hours. This was of course spread over about 5 weeks so as not to convey the feeling that I chained myself to the computer for 30 hours straight.

And here is the final stage I came to. There is a lot more that I am sure I could have done but, to tell the truth, I am sick of looking at this thing. Overall, I am pleased with this and with my semester overall. I've learned a lot and I've worked hard, which is all I ask of myself. I hope you all enjoy my final and have enjoyed my journey so far. I know I have.

I plan to find some freelance work while I am on my break from school, as well as, inking my PCS five-pager that's been staring at me since class started. I will post some of my work as it progresses further. I hope all is well in your world. Take care and godspeed.

All good things...

Greetings and salutations good folk. It's been a bit since I've posted. Mmm, yes it has. Well, my friends I've been studiously plugging away at my final projects for both of my classes. I will briefly describe what they entail. Firstly, for my Concept, Design and Process class I was instructed to create a logo for a new company called Villa Perugia. This company is an Italian foods company that prides itself on being authentic and traditional. Here is the logo scheme I came up with:

After this we were then instructed to create a screenshot of the homepage of the website for Villa Perugia. This is what I came up with:

From there, we were then told to create the first print ad for Villa Perugia Products. And here is what I came up with:

For my Design Technology class, my final project has been to recreate, using Illustrator, a watch. I am not finished with it and I have been reluctant to post what I've accomplished so far. I will be posting the finished product in the coming week, along with a couple earlier versions of the watch to compare.

Other than that, I have been well and I hope you are as well. Farewell and Godspeed.

Getinet done. :)

Hello, folks. Just here to throw up my revised assignment for Design Tech and Concept, Design and Process. My instructor from Design Tech handed me my behind when he critiqued the first one. The photo was way too amateur and I should have known better. So here is my redo. Photography is made possible by Merkuria and his lovely, sexy Canon 50D. Thanks, brother. I hope you all enjoy and my instructor doesn't destroy me tomorrow.

For the other assignment, they chocolate bar designs went over well. All I needed to do was brighten up the colors of the darker ones. So I am happy with them as well. Hope you are as well.

mmmm yummy photos...

Ahoy, swashbucklers. Once again here I am to present my newest Design Tech assignment. Oooo, and it was a fun one, kiddies. This is my midterm assignment and what we were instructed to do was create/recreate a magazine cover. I am super pleased with its outcome and I need to thank Danielle for her yummy photography props. Yes, folks, that is her oh-so-derishous creation you see in the photo. So give her a big hand and I hope you all salivate appropriately. Fare thee well and godspeed.
