Chocolate bar, please, hold the roach...

'Ello, 'ello, chaps and birds. It's that time again. (Does anyone even look at these? I wonder...) Here is my most recent piece for Concept, Design and Process. We've been working with fonts and were instructed to create the assignment without the benefit of images. Everything you see has been made with type. Holy Futura, Batman. I feel it's a well balanced piece and was a lot of fun to work on. Enjoy all.

Fonts, fonts, fonts and more fonts...

Hey, it's me again. Here with my newest work from my Design Tech class. I am pleased with it for the most part but I might have made a mistake in directions. We will find out tomorrow whether I blew it. Basically what I am trying to achieve here is create an image using text. Hope you like.

Kuberts of Beauty...

Hola, my magnificent morsels. I am stopping by once again to drop off my newest assignment. It is titled 'Opposites' and is hopefully understood by the photos contained within. I really enjoyed making this. I'd like to take this moment to thank my most wonderful model, the sensuous B-star herself and my love, Danielle Alliman. I hope you enjoy. Take care and godspeed.

Mjes.

Hello and welcome once more to my inner sanctum. Today I present my newest assignment for my Design Technology class. I was instructed to take these jovial illustrations of the characters from the program 'The Backyardigans'.

Whereupon I rendered them in Illustrator and colored them as well. Here is the finished product. I am very pleased with the outcome. I hope you are as well...or else!

Guerrilla Photo shooting fun time stuff.

Greetings my lovely flesh sacs. Once more I am posting another assignment from class. We were instructed to photograph one vehicle in interesting perspectives totaling four views. Within each view we are to include the text, "Curves Ahead". I chose this car that happens to be on my block that I amble past daily to the bus stop. I love it, I have no idea what make, model, or year it is, but nonetheless it is an exceptional piece of metal craftsmanship. I am pleased with my work overall and I hope you enjoy. Until we meet again, godspeed and good night...

cleft at the joint...

Good morrow, my octogenarian ogres of occult. I am once again posting some homework and I do believe I will continue to do this as the semesters go along. This week wasn't as exciting creatively as last but I did have fun with my one assignment.

This first piece is mostly a technical assignment for Illustrator. I was instructed to take this pixelated image of a coffee mug (looks like an early 90's gif image, doesn't it?)

And turn it into a nice clean and smooth image like so...

Yea, I know it isn't very exciting.

My other assignment for my Concept, Design and Process class, on the other hand, was much more enjoyable. We were asked to photograph a single building in different and interesting perspectives and then arrange four of the best images in an 8.5 x 11 document. I love the house I chose. It's along my bus route and I always stare at it as we go by. It reminds me of some kind of weird gingerbread castle. I imagine creatures from various pastry and cookie dimensions coming together inside and using it as a headquarters and sanctuary of the Sugar Resistance. Or not. So here's my piece, I hope you like it... a little.

A new morning.

Greetings, creatures of the light. I hope all is well. So here's my first assignment in my design technology class. I like the concept and design of it and I am pretty green with Illustrator so I don't know all the bells and whistles yet. For what I know though I am pleased with the results. I hope you enjoy. Until next time, avoid the dark corners of the room.

A Walk in the Forest of Thoughts

Greetings, friendish fiends. School has started and I am excited to learn and stuff. Time is a commodity and must be used wisely. Wish me luck!

So I am posting my first assignment from my Concept, Design and Process class. We were instructed to take paper clips and use them as if we were selling a new product. The directions were to really brainstorm the various uses of them. The copy is supposed to say fascinate and I know it's spelled wrong. That's what the instructor wanted. Go figure. In my concepts, I used digital photography and Illustrator to achieve my results. I hope you enjoy them. I am pleased with the results. Well, I must be off to class now. I hope you all are well and not under the influence of any evil entities, at least not more than the usual. Until next we speak, farewell.
